Building a Podcast Website in Under an Hour

When I was preparing my podcast, UXPRESS, I envisioned it as a space where UX professionals and enthusiasts in Bulgaria could connect, share insights, and inspire one another. I had everything set up — the recording tools, the distribution platforms, and the content strategy. But one essential piece was missing: a website.

Overview

A dedicated website would serve as a home for my podcast, making it easy for listeners to find episodes, subscribe, and engage with my content. The challenge? I didn’t have the time to design and build it from scratch. That’s when I decided to experiment with Lovable, an AI-powered tool that promised to help create websites quickly and efficiently.

This case study walks you through my experience, from initial skepticism to a fully functional website in under an hour, and what I learned about AI’s role in the UX design process.

The Need Arises
Curiosity won. I created a free account on Lovable and was pleased to find that even with limited daily prompts, I could test its capabilities without commitment.
